Since 2009, Noé21 published two reports “Climate Action Plan for Geneva” illustrating the efforts required to reduce CO2 emissions at the regional level, in order to respect the IPCC recommendations. The report identifies what needs to be done, in each sector whre GHG emissions are generated: mainly transport, energy and industry.
Since then, other studies have been published, including a building retrofit study “CEPIC” and a study on ways to fund these retrofits “Bâti65” (all these studies are in French and freely accessible).
Noé21 plans to publish every 2 years a study on the climate and energy policies of Geneva that will include new solutions studied by Noé21.
